Observation Task 9a

In the morning on that day, we had a field visit for awareness activity. The whole kindergarten went to the MARYAM BNT SULTAN School. There t school, the school did more activities , such as chair game, singing ,a play and  that play was an awareness one to warn children from having more sweets and that with an aim of protecting them from DIABETES.

During that day, more responsibilities were over my shoulders as the Arabic teacher was absent ,so I took a huge responsibility of children .As the English teacher wanted me to take a full responsibility for all the children. Really, I managed doping that and showed a great success and I benefited more.

 Activities in a specialist class

 When we went back to the Kindergarten, I attended the library class where the children attend this class once a week. There the children learned more about the library departments and the library teacher read them a story. After the teacher had finished, she asked the children some questions about the story and the children tried to think and really that was so fascinating.

The children were distributed on the library corners to try to read stories, and that for 15 minutes. Finally, at the end of the class, they lined up and then directed to their class.

 The teacher needs to be more friendly and more care with children. The library had more equipment where that included corners and in each corner, it has TV, Puppet Theater, Carpet mate, table and with chairs. The play and the carpet, children liked them so much.

The library teacher used reading and answering strategy and also to make children think better for the answers. The strategies are exactly as what the main teacher used. The lesson was so nice and enjoyable.
