last day








It was a very sad day because I would miss the children not just my class but also the other classes. That day was too hard for me to farewell them.  My mentor was sick and she gave me my booklet and left early.


So I did most of her tasks and responsibilities. For example, checking and correcting student’s notebooks.  I glued student’s worksheets in their note books and transferred them to other classes. That all is shown in the pictures provided in this blog.



In addition it was an open day for children to wear traditional UAE clothes to take photos in certain areas that are designed for traditional design.

Trip To Museum




On that day in the morning, we went to a trip to AL AIN PALACE MUSEUM that was in its origin SHRIKH ZAYED home. There we saw many things. Firstly, we saw AL Nahyan Family Tree; it was a very nice palace. 


On that day, I was so pleased when my mentor was with me and she was asking about more things in the palace she didn't know, I felt proud when I managed to explain her what she saw and provided her with more information about the palace and its artifices.



The kindergarten did an activity where they brought a tent and traditional food and I myself brought them " balalyet and harees" Also, the kindergarten brought birds and made the children photocopied with them 

 .

During my training, I did more things as for example; I managed to help the teacher in correcting student’s worksheets, and notebooks, cutting the papers with the teacher and helping her in preparing students to have their meal.


 In addition, I managed to support and help students in class. Besides, preparing teaching aids as flashcards, and observing students and also I managed to support them in class and while being in the playground.

I observed that the teacher prepares a warming up before starting the class. Also, she uses more teaching aids to manage students for good learning.  In addition, the teacher uses the strategy of learning by doing, critical thinking, collaborative learning, and modifying behavior and more.

There was a naughty child who was  moving more and the teacher and I tried to modify her behavior through we talked to her to be good and give her a star and really through encouraging, and gifts, the child's behavior changed .

The teacher was so positive while dealing with students in class where that was reflected in student’s response to her and their obedience for the teacher's orders and sayings. Besides, the policy of motivational techniques .and that all encouraged students to do better encouragement.

Observation Task 8 Activities types





 Activities types

In that observation I discussed with teacher activities and I learned new things in tasks. Although I observe children spending approximately 10 minutes and they do their tasks in different ways .For example 
individuals, pairs and groups.  In addition teachers must make different and many kinds of activities.


 After they had finished the lesson teacher introduced and explained the activities then she chose one group to write in the books and other learners chose their own activities and also when they finished the shows the teacher.  If they did good job, teacher gave them stars, but when they did a mistake, she helped them and explained in a simple way.

On that day, the supervisors from the Higher College of Technology are came to the Kindergarten to see how the young children learn and how the matter in the Kindergarten is done.  It was too short visiting our class so I can't take photo.

Observeation Task 9b


Integrated subject area  Math 

Children attend math’s class every day. Children learned numbers, counting, patterns, sorting and puzzle. That all is impor5ant to manage children know numbers and try to count them. Besides, colors, sizes as small, big, colorless. The teacher used more teaching strategies as applying teaching, For example, the teacher made children count each other.

As the teacher asks one boy to count the boys and a girl to count the girls, and then find the total number of boys and girls by another child. I enjoyed greatly through achieving that as really it was so nice when I see children have the ability to count.

The lesson was so interesting and managed children to
 know both numbers and counting.
