For example, when the principle and hide of factually observe my MST she felt nerves and felt the class is hot.

SECOND Observation Reflection - Aneela - 20, March 2016 Name: Khawla – H00236669 - (Year, 2.2)

Select
My event is how to control myself if I faced some problems before delivering the lesson.
When my MCT were observing me for the first time in (KG 1 – D) at “AL Tomooh Kindergarten.”
Outcome:  KLP1: Say the beginning consonant sound. Know the relationship between letters and sounds.

Describe
I chose this event because I faced some problems in the observation day. My oldest daughter was sick over the weekend. Also, she had Emsaa exam, she misses the bus, and her father was at work in Abu Dhabi. So, I took her to school. Therefore, I thought you would observe me at 08:50 am. I try to set up my activities quickly. I forgot to put the spoon in drama centers. I forgot to be done many things as I wrote in the lesson plan for example life experience example; fruits, food two students name (Fatima – Khalifa). Other things it was an open day in school also some parents and teachers come in the class. All of that makes me crazy.
During the activities, I walked around the class, and I shucked what the child is doing in the drama, outdoor and writing centers. What are these children doing today? All of these factors make me nervous.
However, I push myself and keep going anyway.

Analyze
I think this problem happens because I was in a big stress from the beginning of the day and many things going on me.

Appraise
I learn from my event for next time I should focus on my lesson and do not make a big deal about a small issue because it affect my work productivity in future.
How: For example, confident while I am delivering the lesson, be positive and think how to solve the problem. To be honest, I push myself and keep going.
Why: To give my best for my hard works in and do not face any problem.

Transform
In my next teaching, make sure to be prepared and set up our lesson and activities at the day before observation. Also, keep focus in my lesson and observation.

comments
This lesson was like a nightmare for me I do not know what I do. Cry or laugh.

Therefore, I suggest, and I ask my mentor to give me a chance to do the lesson again on Monday, and it was a big range between the two lesson, which you observe me on Sunday and the lesson that I do it Monday.

Furthermore, I found the result of the child why they do not respond to me on Sunday

Because they were thinking about their parents and the open day event. However, on Monday, the students were responding to me, and they were reacted with me.

First Reflection Observation - 16, March 2016

First Observation Reflection - Aneela - 16, March 2016
Name: Khawla – H00236669 - (Year, 2.2)

Select
My event is how to manage my time on the carpet.
When my MCT were observed me for the first time in (KG 1 – D) at “AL Tomooh Kindergarten.”
Outcome: Explore pattern in a range of familiar environment.

Describe
I chose this event because I had some problems while I was delivering the lesson when I finished the active engagement. I started to send the first group, which was my focus group to my table. Then I started to send the second group. After that, I remember I did not explain for students the activities.  Then I told second group students to back to carpet to explain for them the activities that were set up in each center. I thought my focus group does not need to know about other activities. Then I started to work with focus group and asked them some question that linked to math book to evaluate them. After that, I explained for them the activities to make them busy. As a result of that, I wanted to walk around the class to check other students if they need help and back to my group.

Analyze
I think this problem happen because I was thinking about the time. Therefore, I forgot to explain the activities for students as a result of that I felt little nerves and me afraid students waste my time.

Appraise
I learn from my event for next time I should manage myself.
How: For example, put a timer, back all students on the carpet and be more confident while I am delivering the lesson.
Why: Maybe some student’s of the focus group will finish quickly then walk around the class, and they will make noise and interrupted other students.

Transform
In my next teaching, make sure to explain activities for whole students before sending them to the corners. Keep focus group to sit next to me to know what others corner going on.  Bring one example of each center to make sure all students are focusing on me.

Jorje story
In the first week, I had difficulty to manage student’s behavior. Also, Arabic teacher was absent because she had a sad story in her family. Also, I was a new teacher for them also students were missing Arabic teacher. And also, they asked me. Where is Miss Shaikha? Why does she not come? I answered she is tired, and she is missing you also she told me she wants you all to be a good listener. I try many hard to deal with them. In the first weekend thing a lot then I decided to bring Jorje and make them busy. Students like Jorje a lot that makes me happy to use these strategies to keep management and engage them

last day

It was a very sad day because I would miss the children not just my class but also the other classes. That day was too hard for me to farewell them.  My mentor was sick and she gave me my booklet and left early.

So I did most of her tasks and responsibilities. For example, checking and correcting student’s notebooks.  I glued student’s worksheets in their note books and transferred them to other classes. That all is shown in the pictures provided in this blog.

In addition it was an open day for children to wear traditional UAE clothes to take photos in certain areas that are designed for traditional design.
